This may not be the place to post this question but I'm going to anyway. Why is it when I try to post pictures anywhere on this site they come out upside down? I don't have that problem on any other site. Anyone have a simple solution?

I have had the same experience when I use my cell phone posting, I have concluded that if I use my computer, all is well, for some reason my phone flips them. If your using your phone, try your computer. Brian

I take and post all my pictures using my cell phone without any issue. Make sure when you are taking pictures with your phone that your phone is held horizontally and not vertically.

Its an issue with the size of the picture; reduce the megapixel setting on your camera/phone or use a program to reduce the size. MS-Paint has a 'resize' feature that will let you do the same thing before uploading the pic. Some phones automatically resize pictures before transferring them anywhere -- my Samsung does this...

At this time, there is no software within the forums that can correct that issue. You need a photo editing tool or to take the pictures right-side up.

This is not an issue specific to CorvetteForum and is common online. What happens is that the iphone user takes the picture upside down. The iphone knows this and corrects this in their viewer.

This has been discussed before on Apple's own website:

I've tried flipping the pictures on my computer and my iPhone before posting and they still come out upside down. I don't have this problem at all on craigslist for instance.

Craigslist and a vBulletin forum are very different on the software side. You will find the same issue on any other, stock, vBulletin-based site and a few other online places. Perhaps that is something we should be able to address at some point, but the root issue begins with the device.

I can't provide you much more than the link above, from Apple's own website, that discusses this known issue.

Default My Corvette Pictures not showing.

When I click on "My Corvette Photos" to check out someones 'vette pics, it says something about gallery no longer available and gives a click here link that goes to all the members galleries. am I missing something?

The My Corvette Photos links to an area that is no longer managed. The links continue because members have pictures in that section.

The Gallery is the new software. Go to a member's profile if you want to view the albums in the Gallery.

Another stupid question. when I click on your name (JT) and choose see profile, I can view your gallery pics. I have created a couple albums to see how that works, but I still can't get my pics to show up in my profile.

We will have to investigate. It is currently not working as developed.
