Display Format Question
Hi,
Just a question about the Forum display format. Has there ever been any thought to adding a column or something to the index page that shows the date the post was first made? It might be helpful in filtering out really old posts that some members respond to. Thanks!

I think you're referring to the threads rather than individual posts. Yes on the main page, the only date you see is of the last post. Looking at the list of threads you have no idea when the threads were created. And sometimes someone will reply to a 3 year old thread putting it at the top of the thread list. It would help to have the thread creation dates listed but it might be a major effort. The only option now is to click on the first post.

When you click on the thread title to open it so you can post in that thread, you see the first post, so you know when it was first created.
An alternate is to use a browser add-on called Cool Previews that lets you read a thread without opening it.

Thanks for the replies, that is true, but for me it would be nice to see the start date on the main/title page without clicking on it. Just a little time saver as a discussion from 2005 might not affect my 2011.

Moderators: Web Page not resizing pictures to screen size
For the past few days the webpages are not resizing the posted pictures and making the page much larger than screen size. Why????

This is a known issue and is being addressed. Though the issue just started yesterday. If it has been longer for you, then it may be another issue - such as blocking or filtering javascript.

Example - I just posted this:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1590621856
While typing post, and previewing it, the text was way off to the right, forcing me to scroll. Once I hit submit it corrected itself, staying within my screen view.

That helps pinpoint the issue. So the issue is really in the Editor window?
I can't, as now it only does it when I am replying to a post, or using "Preview Post". Once I post it fits the screen.

Yes. For about a day it also was only an issue for image replies. If someone quoted a post, and included an image, the quote box was extended beyond screen, and the image would have a large grey box stretching to right. That issue is gone now, but still have problem when creating a reply (edit) with image.

Yes, images that were quoted did run past the margins and was a known issue that was being resolved. It was resolved earlier as you indicated.
We'll look into the post editor margin issue with images.
Thanks
