Default Corvette Forum problems

I like Corvette Forum, but it is giving me so many problems I may have to leave.
It is taking forever to load a thread and forget scrolling! I usually get so frustrated I just "X" off the site altogether. I keep getting the "site not responding" OS message because it is so slow on my computer!
This may have something to do with the McAfee software because it gives me the message "We tested this page and blocked content that comes from potentially dangerous or suspicious sites. Allow this content only if you're sure it comes from safe sites." I don't get this message with any other site I visit. I am not going to turn off my firewall for Corvette Forum because, although I trust Corvette Forum, there are advertiser links, embedded videos, etc throughout the threads.
I also occasionally get the message "shockwave crashed". I don't know what this means, but it does not sound good.
No other site I visit has this problem.
Does anyone else have this trouble or a solution? I hate to leave the site, but it is getting to be too much of a PIA to read any thread.

You're more likely to get useful technical assistance if you post your issues in the "Help" forum; when it's all said and done, the problem's going to be on your end.

No hacking software used on any of my machines, & no issues with the forum. Is your computer a running a 386 chip by chance?

Then try 2 aspirin, making another donation to St Jude in the name of the forum, say 3 Hail Mary's and 2 Our Father's , hope for divine intervention and check back in the morning .

That's all I got.

You are right. I should have used that forum. I have restarted a new thread on that forum, but I don't know how to close this thread.
