That doesn't sound like the same issue. OP said IE crashes when trying to log in the forum. You said IE Edge (different browser) crashes on the homepage (different area).

IE Edge is a lightweight browser. It does not work with every website, which is why Microsoft still has the full IE. You may need to use the full IE browser.
