loadus.exelator.com is a legit partner and should appear for pretty much everyone. But it shouldn't prompt for open/save. Something is not right. What browser are you using?

I am getting the same message on two of the three computers that I use for CF. I use IE (not sure what version) on all of them.

I use Windows 7 and IE11 on my desktop computer. Every time I get on this forum, I get the message pop-up below that reads:

Do you want to open or save load.js from loadus.exelator.com ?

You get an Open, Save or Cancel button .... I would suggest to everyone to [NOT] open or save this malware.

Read about it here:

We are looking into the issue.

I can say that loadus.exelator.com, specially the exelate tag, has been used by Internet Brands (who owns CorvetteForum) for atleast the past 4 years and is on several of IB's sites. It is an ad partner. A javascript from them is loaded whenever loading the site and that has been case for the past few years.

Regarding the prompting of opening/saving, we'll have to look into that.

I just got the same load.js message. I don't like that stuff-- it sounds like data mining. You should not have that popping up on this site. As noted b Turbo6TA, if you Google it there seems to be a lot of very similar or the same stuff that appears bad for your computer. I would never load it on to my computer. --Bob
