This really was a terrible time for the forum, but really, I think it pulled us all together closer then many forums will ever be. I kept up with all the threads, I, Like most members kept a window minimized with that thread in it, and whenever I walked past the comp, Id refresh it, hoping for good news. Sadly...there was none ot be had.

I consider myself fortunate to have exchanged PM's with Mike on the forum a few times, and I also keep the official Datawiz "WellAdjusted" CI badge hanging on the edge of poster next to the computer here, as a reminder than none of us are bulletproof, and that we should value each and every day as if it were our last, because much as with Mike, you never know. Also to keep Mike's memory alive

Miss seeing your avatar on the forum man...It just isnt the same.

Wow, I had never read what happened. I didn't want to be nosy and ask questions about someone's death and somehow missed the original topic about this at the time.

What a terrible thing to happen

I did not know Michael personally, but I had met and talked with him at a few events in FL.

Will never forget that weekend.
Everyone on the Forum pulled together and tried to help find him.

You have been in my thoughts a lot lately. I sure do miss you. I could really get into one of our 2 hour phone conversations right about now.

6 years now and I still think about the Bahama Jam where I shared a cabin with him.

Wow... What a tragic story.

Never got to meet him but it seems like he was a great man.

May he rest in peace.

wow. 7 years ago. Weird, I remember "WellAdjusted" and this very thread when Jesse posted up for for not long before this tragedy (Back then I was known as MARK'S_C5TT) Michael sent me a PM stating how he didn't always agree but he saw that I had put some deep thought into all my posts. After that PM I never heard from him and this thread went up. It was soo sureal

7 years gone by so fast. I must admit, its difficult to read these threads but I suppose it should serve as a wake up call for all of us how life is so short. Heck, Its almost like I expect it the way I am so careful in how I drive, what I do, how I behave in public nowadays. I am 51 y/o but seeing so many others pass before my age its like I live life "OK, any day now. Its going to happen and there probably wont be any George Carlin 2 min warning

A week ago today makes 15 years since Michael passed away.

His story then was one of the most watched since the Forum began.

Thank you for bumping this thread remembering our dear friend.

It was such an horrible time but reliving how our CF family pulled together was amazing and heart wrenching.

Mike (welladjusted), was one of the friendliest, caring and most genuine people I have ever met. It was an honor to meet his family as well - meeting them just confirmed why Mike was as incredible person.

We miss you Mike but it is my faith that one day we will all be together again - RIP brother
