A Loss In Our Corvette Community and West Coast Corvette
On 2-17-2010 at 8:15 AM we lost a former employee of West Coast Corvette to a tragic auto accident. Amy Hunt Thomas was taking a potential buyer of their 2003 Corvette for a test drive and was involved in a fatal crash in Laguna Hills, California.
Amy was a past employee of WCC and had left us on medical leave 2 years ago and then stayed home to raise their 4 children, now between the ages of 7 months to 7 years old. Bryan, Amy’s husband is now left to raise the 4 children on his own. Unfortunately Amy did not have life insurance and Brian was recently notified that his current job position was being eliminated due to the poor economy. They had plans to sell their Corvette and move back to South Carolina near Amy’s family and provide a better life for their children until this terrible tragedy occurred.
We at WCC would like to start a fund to help the Thomas family in this very difficult time. We know that the Corvette community is a tight knit one, and we would like to ask for donations on their behalf. We have set up a memorial fund for donations to the family. To make the donations or you can click the link below to donate directly thru WCC. We at WCC appreciate your support in these very sad times.
Thank you for your consideration to this worthy cause

Prayers for Amy's husband and children. I hope they are able to move back close to family. They'll really need them now.

I imagine that is very well known now about the recent Corvette crash in L.A. that took the lives of (4) young people, even though there were (4) people in a car designed for 2 it is still tragic to see all of these lives ended so soon.
There is a powerful message here that says these cars are to be driven with the utmost care and one second of in attention may be your last.
