R.I.P. Mike Yeager Eastcoast Performance

2005 Beast
I just came across this thread as I have not been on the forum in a very long time. So sorry to hear about Mike. I purchased a clutch from him several years ago. I had some issues and he got the manufacturer involved and also offered to sell me any parts that I would ever need at cost to make up for the hassle. And everyone is right, the guy would talk to you for hours. He really was into his work and truly cared about his customers and his love of corvettes. Very sad to see such a great-hearted spirit leave our world.
Rest in Peace Mike, We all will miss you,
Tom

R.I.P. Mike
Haven't been on the forum for quite some time and just came across this thread in search of Mike. I'm glad to say that Mike Yeager was the best vendor I ever had the pleasure to deal with, absolutely the best customer service I ever received. Ever since the first time I dealt with Mike a few years ago he was the only person I'd go to for my LSx drivetrain needs, I wouldn't even search anywhere else before talking with him. I'm certain many of you know there was a very good reason for that. He took pride in his profession and helping others, that is a trait not enough have. I am truly saddened to hear such a helpful man gone. Condolences to his friends and family.

FOR THOSE THAT DONT KNOW my friend of many years Mike Yeager has passed away... i drove by to check on my friend to find the police and the hazmat team there to recovere his body... sad for me getting off at 11 pm.... He was the most real corvette guy i ve ever known... he loved the corvette, he loved his customers, and never minded spending time to help them even if they werent paying customers...... i started doin cars for him 25 years ago.. it was a 78 with flared fenders.. then his 98, then his 02 Z06, then his 06' Z06... the Z06 made 998 HP on the rear wheels.... incredible.......

Just saw this. Wow !!! Mike wasn't that old of a guy, however I know he had some medical issues and was in and out of the hospital several times. I remember his dad telling me he had crohn's disease.
