Please pass along.... RIP Mike Yeager Eastcoast Performance!!!!
FOR THOSE THAT DONT KNOW my friend of many years Mike Yeager has passed away... i drove by to check on my friend to find the police and the hazmat team there to recovere his body... sad for me getting off at 11 pm.... He was the most real corvette guy i ve ever known... he loved the corvette, he loved his customers, and never minded spending time to help them even if they werent paying customers...... i started doin cars for him 25 years ago.. it was a 78 with flared fenders.. then his 98, then his 02 Z06, then his 06' Z06... the Z06 made 998 HP on the rear wheels.... incredible.......

Very sad news. Mike was a true Corvette guy. And his customer service was the best. My sincere condolences.

Wow Joey, I just found out about this. Very sorry to hear this! He was a great guy and will be missed by many. I haven't seen him in a while, but I had heard he was having some health issues.

OK We just got this info that Mikes' burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery at 11 am tomorrow 7-1-2014. Woodlawn is in Greenville,SC and is located just across from the intersection of Wade Hampton aka hwy 29, and Hwy 291 Pleasantburg Dr. There is a Red Lobster near there as well. There isn't going to be a funeral or service just the burial. Mike would appreciate anyone that could be there in their Corvette or what ever they had that was LOUD AND FAST! Mike was a great guy and he was very passionate about Corvettes as well as other cars, but Vettes were extra-special to Mike. He would spend endless hours helping others with their cars and loved every moment of it. If you can't make it out tomorrow please take just a moment of silence and pray for him and his family. Thanks to you all Corvette brothers and sisters. David & Dr. Karen Thomas

Also thanks to Joey for getting us the information about Mike. Mike is the second Corvette brother/friend that we have lost recently. Tony Burrell was the 1st just a few weeks ago. Both of these guys went way to early so let's all keep things like this in mind when we let little things get to us and say or do things we may later regret. GOD bless and best wishes to you all. If you get a chance pay it forward at least once in your life.
Thanks, David R Thomas

Sad to come across this thread. Although I don't know Mike at all, I've corresponded with him a few times reference build options.
Thoughts and prayers out to his family.
Rest in peace brother.
