Fred Perra RIP
Connie called me this morning to let me know Fred passed yesterday apparently from heart failure. She asked that I let all his friends know and to share his appreciation for our freindship.
His daughters are flying in today so services are yet to be determined. I will share what I find out as soon as I know. I suspect it may be a small private in home service. I am working with some of his close friends to arrange our own tribute to the grand man.

A Great Corvette Guy!
This is truly sad news to hear. I remember Fred as one helluva man who made the time to help anyone and with my car on several occasions. He will be sorely missed.

So sad. I did not know him well like the rest of you but the few times we met I was always impressed with him and his car. Condolences to the family and close friends.

Thoughts and prayers to family and friends. Fred was way to young to leave us.

Jeez this is hard to believe Fred was way to young to leave us. This is so sad, not only was Fred a good customer he was a good friend as well. Fred used to just drive down to have lunch with me and chat. I just met with Fred a few short weeks ago when I arranged the sale of his car to a friend of mine. When I asked him why he was selling his pride and joy, he just told me that Connie wouldn't know what to do with the car if something ever happened to him. I just never thought we would loose a dear friend this soon. I will miss him very much.

Heck - I've been away from the group for a bit; so sorry to hear and my condolences to family and friends.
I remember the amazing numbers his beast made at the Carb Connection dyno day, and talking with him both at Leavenworth and at a BBQ get-together in Issaquah. Super nice guy.
