Test pilot message.
Hi to all.
My name is Jose. I am a Puerto Rican man, born here in Puerto Rico of Puerto Rican mother and father. My first language is Spanish, and English is my second language.
I am a scientist. I studied at the University (here in Puerto Rico) a mayor in biology, and a minor in chemistry.
I do not currently own a full-sized Corvette, but I would love to, and I hope to someday. I do own many die-cast miniature Corvettes. I own a 1/64 scale Greenlight red 1970 Corvette LT1 ZR1 coupe, and its serial number is 0005, the fifth made ! I also own this same 1970 Corvette in the much more rare Green Machine version, and its serial number is 12.
I own both 1969 ZL1 Corvettes, the white one and the yellow one, made by Jada, and both still have their original KBToys price stickers. I also own some Hot Wheels 1969 ZL1 Corvettes, including a correct yellow one, and some wrong colour ones.
Back in 2003, the Danbury Mint made the 50 Years Corvette Collection, with 50 Corvettes in 1/43 scale. Later on, some owners of the collections began to break the collections and sell the individual Corvettes on EBay. I bought several of them on EBay, including all of the 1968-72 cars, which are my favourite Corvettes.
The C3 was an excellent generation of Corvettes, until 1972, that is. Of the C3, 1968-72 were the golden glory years, 1973 and 1974 were decent and respectable years, and 1975-82 were the lousy years. Of those lousy years, I especially dislike the embarassing low horsepower of 1975, the junky 1980 LG4 and cross-fire 1982 engines, and the pityful, shameful, pathetic, and sh***y 85mph speedometres of 1980-82. It is so sad that the wonderful C3, which began excellent, had such a sad and agonising ending.
Well, guys, I will discuss more of Corvette soon, and I hope to make friends and that we will have some fun discussing Corvettes.
