New guy on the block
Hi. I have the opportunity to trade my Harley for a 1979 Corvette w/ 50,000 miles on it. I am skeptical of the mileage as it it a '79, but the guy tells me that people do not always have these cars as "daily drivers". Sorta makes sense. It is supposed to be an L82. Can anyone give me some ideas of what to look for or look out for when I go to look at this car. The pictures look super nice. He says the only real problems w/ the car are the radio does not work(fuse?), and the driver's side window goes up to about three inches of closing, then you have to give it a push to get it all the way closed. Any help would be really great. Thank you.

o.k..... the deal for the '79 L82 caved in. However I have a guy on the hook for a '73. What's the scoop on these? Look! My bike is worth about $9000. I am not a "biker". I just thought I might like riding a bike. I do. But, I just ain't that into it. However I would like to keep my value in an asset that appreciates instead of going the other way. Now-Ya-Know! LOL So, what's the "what's-up" on the '73s?
