Default New member saying hello.

Hello, my name is Ron and I've just joined CF. I purchased my first Corvette two months ago - a 2000 manual shift convertible with only 21K miles. I've always wanted a vette and decided to finally buy one as I retire from the Air Force. Looking forward to putting a few more miles on it and getting to know other Corvette owners.
Do have a question. I keep this in my garage and don't intent to drive during the winter months. I bought a trickle battery charger and also have a car cover. Is it a safety issue (or any other issue) to have the charger hooked up continuously while the car cover is on?
Suggestions appreciated and thanks in advance.

Absolutely love it. I've previously owned Austin Healy, MG and Audi TT sports cars, but the vette is the most fun and most importantly an American made legendary car.

Welcome. You should ask your question in the C5 Corvette Forum (general discussion). Plenty of helpful C5 owners who will answer your question.
