Default 1st time Vette owner from Philadelphia area

Just purchased a 2012 Grand Sport Centennial Edition 3LT 6spd with 8,000 miles on it. Totally in love. Unfortunately it has rained here every day since purchasing it and i'm scared for my life driving that car on factory good years in the rain.

I live outside of Philadelphia in the suburbs and hope to have many trouble free miles of cruising to the NJ shore and anywhere you can eat up some highway with it.

Just wanted to say hello

Default Welcome

Welcome and congrats on your Vette. Sounds like you're already learned a good lesson: If you break traction you have the potential to lose control. Whether it's rain or sand/gravel or anything else on the roadway, you need to watch how you drive or it can become very scarey.

Welcome, and when it stops raining, take ride to Pats, and get cheesesteak, and remember no eating in car.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Finally had it on the highway on the way down the shore. Rides great, a little on the loud/windy side with the top off but i'm looking for at some things that may help with that.
