Hi folks..got my 1979 L-82 Corvette in 2001. It was a God "thing"....bought her basically sight unseen over a 2 day period of time. Had always had a mustang, loved the get up and go but NEVER thought of a vette in anything more than a fantasy. My lil red vette was near perfect with all the bells and whistles. Well....I'm a lil old white haired lady now and was taking the vette out maybe once or twice a season....such a waste for such a HOT lil red corvette. Am relocating out to the east coast so thought the time was right to pass my Vette onto my son in law. Got it auto transported to him....to say he is ecstatic is an understatement. He has gotten more info on her in the last couple of weeks than I did the whole time I had her. I am curious about something....she is a 1979 Canadian L-82 Corvette. Records show that in 1979 5,467 corvettes were shipped to Canada...of these 1,604 were L-82's. Does this have an effect on what the overall value of the Corvette is? Another question is about STOCK classification...the original interior was a oyster color and has been changed to a custom all leather interior have also changed the radio.....with these changes can she still be stock? Guess I just really don't know what stock means and doesn't mean. So sorry this post is so long....I'm a long winded old broad...LOL....thanks everyone.
