First time corvette owner and newer member!
Hello all,
I just purchased my first corvette. It is a 2006 z51 3lt. I have been longing to own a corvette for some time now. I am from West-central Illinois(around Quincy, Illinois) and am stationed in twentynine palms, california when I'm back in the states. The car is otherwise stock aside from magnaflow catback, short throw shifter, and slp cai. I'm currently in Afghanistan and have been gathering up parts to begin the modding process. So far, I have purchased:
-TSP 1 7/8 longtubes with catless x-pipe
-Vengeance ported fast 102
-Vengeance vrx5 cam kit (springs, pushrods, comp trunnion kit, arp cam/crank bolts, melling oil pump, c5r timing chain, gaskets, etc.)
-160 degree t-stat.
Other mods I'm looking at doing when I get everything installed are a Powerbond 25% u/d pulley as well as QTP cutouts.
I'm open to suggestions on other mods and am also wondering what clutch would best suit my setup and a future 75-150 shot of nitrous.
Thanks guys, Jeremy

Thank you! Serving is my pleasure. 29 palms is toasty, I missed out on the warm months only to be in another desert across the world. Haha
