Thank you gilhuly. OK I'll take some pics as I move along. I still need to familiarize myself on using this forum website also.

Thanks Snoopysvet. Do you know where I can get an accurate set of wiring diagrams for my 78 vet?

Thank you Brandons72vette, I'll try to upload a couple pics. I wish it wasn't sooo cold here in Illinois right now.

I guess not . I just ordered the AIM manual (CD version) from Willcox for the 78. I read that it is a must have? Hopefully that will show everything?

Hello Forum Folks! Think Spring!
I'm in need of a new dash pad for my 78. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestion on the Al Knoch product verses the Corvette America (Willcox) product? Actually Willcox sells both however it seems as though they are more associated with C.A.? I'm wondering why the Al Knoch brand costs considerly more? Are they better? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks !

Al Knoch is the best, but the other one isn't bad. They are from Texas too!

Remember that the cheaper isn't always better, and same for the most expensive. You might ask this in the C3 section. My suggestion is the Al Knoch, but others who have a '78-'82 might suggest otherwise.

Thanks Brandon for reply. Yes that's my dilemma. If there's not a substantial difference I'd rather go with the cheaper price. 😊. I think I'll take your advise and run it by the C3 guys.
Thanks Tom

There's a wealth of information here for vintage vette owners.
The main thing that's holding me up right now is the lack of some warm weather.
