New member here just wanted to say hey...

Heres my on going project. Its a 2011 GMC Sierra with LSX427 and WCCH All Pro Ls7 heads. Also has a 106mm turbo on it. I know its not a vette but share some of the major components so can still learn a lot from you guys. Also a big vette fan so one day ill own one of my own. Anyways here are some pictures of my project. Right now the LSX is pulled out and another one being built by LME in Houston to support more power. Slowly but surely it will be back out. Trying to make the TX2K event next month for some testing at the track.

Welcome from East Texas, and the truck looks great. I own a 2004 Silverado I have had since 2004. I just ordered a new 2015 2500HD and it should be here in about 45 days. I am sure the mods will start as soon as I get it.

BTW, its sleeting and snowing here.

Welcome Nice looking GMC

Bought my wife a 2010 2500 HD Chistmas before last with 26000 miles. Apparently my toy buying has made her jeleous. Next month when my bonus comes in she is wanting a set of 285 BFG all terains, an Undercover Flex, and a Denali Grill.

I have a friend from here that went down to that area to work for Chicago Bridge as a material handler on a refinery.

Thanks! Here's a pic of the old motor by the way. Had something really stupid happen to it long story short ended up contaminating the oil pump and caused a loss in oil pressure resulting in spun main bearings. Anyways out with that one and now have a completely new LsX being built at LME right now. Went with all the best stuff from Callie's. Should put down some good numbers will see.

Looks pretty good! Here is a motor I built in college, but it wasn't for me

It was built to run on alcohol

That's pretty nice, what has to be done to a motor to run on alcohol?

Long story short, you have to modify your fuel tank and lines, your carb needs larger jets, the timing needs to be calibrated to burn the alcohol, etc.
