Aloha c4 z52
Aloha, I have been lurking for a year or so. This site has been a wealth of information. I am now making progress on restoring a 1988 z52. Possibly a greenwood car. As of now I am almost done with a rear suspension rebuild and poly conversion. New shocks etc. Well hope to meet some other c4 guys maybe do a cruise in a month or so when I'm done with the front. Aloha

Waimea is home to one of the only Ferrari's on the island. It is a yellow F360.
Yeah Kona is like what I would imagine living on the moon would be like, only with O2
Hilo is the exact opposite. Just rains and rains and rains.
There are a lot of C1-C3 Corvettes just sitting around on the Island. Most are in Hilo and closer to HPP, Keauu, etc. In fact there are a lot of classic cars rotting away in Hawaii, not just Hawaii Island. If you have time next time, just do some free stylin' and get "lost" and I bet that you can find some pretty cool rides within a 15 minute radius.
Anyways, pretty exciting to talk to someone who knows something about a part of my past.
Also, I lived in town (Hilo) being Hilo Intermediate School on a street called Alae Street. I also had a ranch in Ninole out on the Hamakua Coast. By the way, you ought to stop by the post office there, at mile marker 21 (coming from Hilo) as it is the nation's smallest post office.
Also at mile marker 8 (?) Baker Tom's Malasadas is like one of the best kept secrets. It is right off the road. Oh man, they are so ono! If you haven't, you ought to stop by and try them out.

Waikoloa is nice, especially because of the resorts and condos there. They're building new stuff. My older sister was married at the Hilton Waikoloa. Have had some great times there! Man....some great times!

Waianae isn't what it used to be. the homeless have ruined it for the families who want to enjoy makaha and Yokohama beach. Nanakuli is even worse. It's sad. I still remember the good old days though...

That sucks. It was a nice friendly style little town when I lived there

I love the product, but he isn't much to look at (no offense BT)
The sad thing is after checking on a rumor, apparently he has closed his shop.
I also like the house across the street with the V8 on an engine stand buried half in the ground. Only in Hilo.
