New here!
Hi all!
I am *hopefully* bringing home my very first Corvette tomorrow... a 2007 C6! I have wanted a Corvette my entire life, and the opportunity was raised so I am going to take it!
We have been avid off-roaders and Jeep Wrangler owners up until this point, so this is an exciting change of pace. Looking forward to new adventures!

here is a picture from the website. It'll be here in a couple hours to test drive, already loan approved and got a great rate. I'm a getting so excited. I've done my research, but does anyone have any tips for special things to focus on?

Um, yeah...that color gains a LOT of attention! (some of it undesired by those who might wish you to drive a bit slower!)
Otherwise, as a mechanic, you'll know what to look for better than I. Listen for strange noises, vibrations, or any signs of previous abuse. I turned down several during my shopping experience due to little red flags. However, most Corvettes are loved and well take care of.
We are looking forward to the pics from your driveway!

I see that the C6 is from Texas, where in Texas?
That is cool, my dad is both as well. He has been flying airplane for over 40 years. Is currently a very senior airline Captain.
I have my privates I got back in January and am getting ready to go to the USAF to fly and then transition into the airlines later. I am 23 btw.

The car was delivered to us from Austin. Is very clean, low mileage, drives like a real treat! I couldn't stop smiling! Absolutely no complaints.

My dad flew fighters and tankers in the USAF 20-30 years ago. Yeah the only car I had with a HUD was my C5. Great option, that I am surprised a lot of cars don't have today. My dad still flys with a HUD in his 737-800. Soon I will fly with a HUD too.
Great looking color combination!
PS SAVE THE WAVE!
