Hello everyone, my name is John. It has been a dream of mine since I was 15 to own a Corvette. I have owned Mustangs and Camaros but the thought of owning a Corvette has always been a dream of mine. Well that dream finally came true. I own a 2000 Silver C5 Corvette Coupe (targa) with a 6spd trans. with black interior. Looking over the car ya its been abused but nothing that cant be fixed and it was down right cheap (10k). The only mods that i have seen done to the car is some sort of axle back that is very soft spoken so im assuming an ebay axle-back at best. unfortunately the RPO sticker was removed so I guess the only way to find out what the came from the factory is from the Corvette Museum and pay for a build sheet. It might be a Z51 car only because I do see a power-steering cooler. Anyways, I mainly came to the forums for lots of know how and info from experienced owners that know these cars inside out as I do my own work. Hope to hear from yall and gain info from the brains in the forums. of course I would love to see pictures to get ideas from other members rides. I plan on making my Vette very simple and tasteful with simple suspension mods, wheels, exhaust, and a better air intake. Simple interior mods such as a double din stereo, replacing the speakers and shifter. Thanks
