New Guy in Maryland
Hello everyone
As a youngster I have always admired Corvettes. I purchased my first Corvette brand new in April 2012. I originally wanted a C6 Z06; however I wanted to be able to remove the top more than I wanted the additional HP at the time. I figured that I could supercharge my Vette later for additional power. No plans to track at all. So I purchased a 2012 C6 3LT Inferno Orange GS. It's a 6M with black interior. I absolutely LOVE this car. Not a DD so it’s only out of the garage on beautiful sunny days!!
Back in 2012 everything was going well when all of a sudden THE C7 EMERGED!!!! This really through a monkey wrench in the program for me because I was now torn on if I should supercharge my GS or go C7. I LOVE THE INTERIOR OF THE C7!! However, I'm still partial to the exterior of the C6. So I decided to supercharge my GS. Besides.. it’s still new with only 9K miles on the clock!!
With LOTS of help from the forum, I felt comfortable enough to move forward with the project. So in Nov 2015 I sent my GS to Lingenfelter and went with a Magnuson Heart Beat. The car was returned to me on 13 Jan 2016 and it's a BEAST!!!! I have to learn how to drive this thing all over again!! It's pretty cold here in Maryland this time of year so I have not really had an opportunity to take her out much. But spring is just around the corner!!
I’m looking forward to participating in the forum.
Thanks!!

And congratulations on getting the right car for you. You got just what you wanted and with the Power upgrade you're driving just what you wished for.
