Just signed up because I have been researching C3s and this seemed a logical place to go.
The CMP forum format is nearly identical and it has worked out very well as a place to glean good info, sales and trades.
Tired of motorcycles and I want to sell my Wide Glide and put a '68 - '72 in the garage in it's place. Not a collector just a nice driver, preferably manual transmission and convertible. I can turn a wrench but don't need a project. I have been watching Hemmings and eBay and Craigslist and will continue to do so for a while to figure out prices, availability, trends. Not sure what to make of those places but that seems to be how it's done these days. I'm in southeast NY and would have to go look at it myself & drive it before I even thought about making an offer.
I am aware of many of the common problems but would really appreciate any advice offered.
