New guy from MN. with a C3
Hello folks: A little intro to my new passion. I have always wanted to restore an old car or truck and came across a well used 1977 corvette at a cheap price so I dove in. I started an off body restoration last year and after getting the frame blasted and painted, motor and tranny rebuilt it's time to start reassembly. A corvette really never crossed my mind when I was thinking of a rebuild project but I think it was a good choice because of all the good people that are willing to share there stories and expertise with new people like me. Also the availability of aftermarket parts and used are plentiful.( The drive and the looks of the car really sold me on it) I know there will be a lot of technical questions as this project starts to come together so I thank you all who are willing to help me along the way. Steve, welcome to the Forum, I grew up in Winona in the late 50's, any chance you will be able to bring your 77 to the Steamboat Days car show in June, I would really like to see it, my first vette 30yrs ago was a Silver Blue 77.
