Hey all,
My dad is moving out of Maryland and in with us in Los Angeles and he's bringing his '63 Vette. He's the original owner and it has nearly 300,000 miles of every day driving for decades on it. It's been garaged and not running for about ten years, but we plan to fix it up for him so he can enjoy once again in his retirement years. I joined to get info and advice as things progress with the fixing up.
This is the car I learned to drive on in the early 80's so it has a little bit of sentimental value to me, as well.
Anyway, looking forward to the project! Well, to be exact, I'm looking forward to the project being done...

Getting excited about it. I'm in Maryland helping my dad settle his affairs here before moving out to So Cal, but the 'Vette got onto a Curves Ahead truck 10 days ago and arrived at my shop in Bellflower a few days ago. While going through his papers, we found the original bill of sale and sales brochures from when he first bought it. Really looking forward to getting started!
