New Guy
Hey everyone. Like others that came before me, I have been a long time Lurker who just never took the time to join. Until now...
I am restoring a 76 that has been in the family since new and has been wrecked and modified a bazillion times. Here is how far I have gotten so far
Before...
Before Restore Started. You cannot tell in this photo, but the whole front end is off of the car. It had been in a wreck that went up into the head lights. On the plus side, motor was rebuilt 30k miles and 30 years ago, and interior was just redone before the wreck.
So Far
So far so good. Front end repaired, new wheels and tires, new raidators with duel electric fans, complete headlight rebuild, and a lot more.
All suggestions are welcome. Right now, I am taking a novel approach to the Vega Steering wheel. Instead of replacing I am having Dallas Custom Steering Wheels work on it. I will post picutres of how it turned out.

For future posts on the progress of your car, you might want to try the C3 sections. You will find a lot of good information and recommendations there.
