Owner of a brand new C4 Convertible
Hello from Denton!
My name is Joe, but, everyone calls me JT
I recently bought my brother's 88 triple black - he only had it for about a month; he did the plugs, wires, rotor, new wheels and tires, and then garaged it before deciding that he wanted a coupe instead.
SO - I offered to buy it from him. I say "Brand New" because I realized some issues with the engine and exhaust and brakes and hoses, and....well, pretty much all the maintenance items that owner previous to my brother had not done.
I am having all the major systems redone: cooling hoses, radiator, thermostat, heating lines, brake lines, calipers, pads and rotors, new transmission installed, and renewing all the seals on the engine, and throwing on a magnaflow exhaust. There shouldn't be a leak anyplace once this project is done.
Sludgy brake and coolant lines shouldn't be a "thing" - but, they are with this car.
I can't wait to get this car back from the shop. I will share pictures of the after, and have instructed the shop to keep all the parts they take off; I'll provide pics of those, too

Welcome to the Corvette forum and Congratulations on your C4 Corvette!
I am also a C4 Corvette owner, lots of great builds and topics in the C4 section you might find interesting.
Also, if it's not to much trouble post a picture of your 'new' Corvette for the us.
