Hello CorvetteForum From Florida
Hello Everyone! My name is Jim and i live in Spring Hill Florida. Wondering if any of you are from my area. My current Corvette is a 1989 Coupe. I purchased it from the original owner's widow. It has 70,800 original miles and wears its original paint and interior. The original owner used the car for SCCA Autocrossing and Track Days and set the car up very tastefully. It accelerates, stops, and handles better than new and even offers a better ride quality than stock, something unusual for lowered cars. He set the car up to appear like a Corvette Challenge car, including a beautiful ultra-rare set of Dymag wheels that mount the track tires. The car mostly sat for the last fifteen years. I plan on returning the car to the track once I go through all the fluids and buy a set of race tires. Looking forward to interacting with you!

Great looking C4, and that generation is still a very good vehicle in SCCA events.

Thanks rkj, I'm amazed at how well the car performs. The suspension is all Vette Brakes & Products and fully adjustable. I used to drive these cars when they were new and this car would out-drive them all. The tires that the car wears right now are older so I'm not really pushing it too much. I want to go have some fun at local autocrosses and maybe make some Track Days at Sebring and Road Atlanta.
