Hello CorvetteForum!
Hello all! My name is Kody, I'm 21 years old and I am currently a full time student at the University of Arkansas studying Mechanical Engineering. I drive a 2015 Mustang V6 which has a whole list of modifications done including twin turbos.
I eventually want to get either a C6 or C7 Corvette in the future. If anyone cares to share their input on these topics, I would gladly appreciate it!
Which option and why? C6 LS3 Base, C6 Z06, C7 Base, or C7 Z06.
First off, my price range will vary as I progress through school and after I graduate. As of now, my price range is around $25k-$30k so obviously my only option is a Base LS3. My question is, SHOULD I WAIT?
I plan to drive the car for up to a year with LITTLE or no modifications done. After I get further in school or graduate and have a reliable daily driver, I would like to slowly build "my Corvette" to be a high horsepower street car. Saying this, I understand that the price differs between all of these options and I classify each one differently according to their costs. C6 LS3 base models will definitely be the most attainable in the near future, which is optimal because I can get a Corvette!
I love the way C6's and C7's look in their own ways and if I could, I would love to own both generations! Once again, I am introducing myself to the forums and appreciate all inputs on this topic!
Thanks,
-Kody
