I'll spend more time on the alternate sights you mentioned then. My wife and I will be retiring soon and would like to see the USA in a Chevrolet. We would only drive it for a few years as we would be getting too old. Then for us it's a car for silver haired people! But it would be nice to drive something considered cool for once and for a few years. My son needs to find something older and near the bottom of the depreciation curve for a daily driver that he won't lose his shirt on depreciation-wise. Thanks for the tips.

I noticed your comments relative to the FRC thread. I had wondered why there was so much price support on the site (I'm new). It seems that the majority want to believe, need to believe that their car is worth more than the market and just cannot accept reality. I saw someone being chastised recently for depressing everyone's values by his pricing. Why is is it acceptable to support pricing but not so to negotiate downward on the forum? My son and myself are possibly buyers (joining the Vette fraternity) but this meddling by these owners that have no dog in the fight is bothersome to me and a bit of a turnoff. It was refreshing to read your comments and we are like-minded. Would love to chat sometimes. you seem to have your head on straight.
