I have read a bunch of your posts and you really know the audio! Thanks for the posts. I have a 2010 base radio and am going to be doing a system. I am doing a JL xd 6 channel running JL C5 3 way (6,4,tweet) and a JL 4" coax (center), the second amp is a JL xd 3 channel running 2 5" jl coax's, and a single JL 12W0. I would like to keep the factory radio but was considering running a processor. Have you heard of anyone running the solder RCA trick to a Pioneer DEQ9200 first (or equivalent eq)? I do know that anything intorduced in the signal path normally brings forth noise, but I love the old school 9200. Anyways - what is your background with audio? I installed for high end shops in Cincy from 96-03 full time, and still help at my friends shop. The majority of parts I have left over from my 72 Vette, so I only have to source a few items.
