    Hi mate
Just to say cam is good , idling 820 and he may be able to get it down a tad more. He says vacuum is good and thinks it's pretty mild in fact.

Fuel pressure drop to 40 in boost so I am going to pick it up and probably do a return style regulator system then take it back to him
    Pita but that my luck.
Bottom line I don't have to pull the cam so happy.
    Cheers bud

Hey mate, the guy is still working on it , or it's pushed to one side and he is working on other cars.
Email and text him and get no reply.

Last convo he said the motor/ tune was not consistent ,this was when he was trying to tune the cruise side of things.
We agreed the cam would be constant ,he thought the vacuum was good for that cam, so we might have an issue with something else , random fuel pressure etc which he was going to look into .
loosing patients and if I don't hear anything next couple of weeks will be going up there lol .

I'm still convinced its a tune thing, but until he gets his finger out and does the best tune he can I don't know .
Wish I had better info for ya mate ,but will def let you know ASAP
Sometimes I think f it , get the thing home rip it apart stick a small cam in it ,sorted. Would be a bitch if I still had all the same probs, so that's when I go back to plan one and do everything I can with this present setup.
    Best to ya bud
    Dave

you ever get your cam/tune worked out?
Tooley is still saying the PD stg3 will be good in my LS1, but i'll probably have to set a high idle. now i'm thinking just get a Stg2 cut on a 117 for no overlap.

That does sound excellent . Kinda exactly the guy you need , someone who`s done a bunch of them and like you say can nail it pretty quick.
I think my tuner is way to busy , he is not that local to me so waiting for him to be in my area so he can tweek the base tune.
I have just installed two ,left and right bank AFR wideband sensors PLX , so that might help some . I saw 20.5 dropping to 15.4 on the plx gauge this was just idling in my garage, hit the throttle and it just dies , I assume way to lean ?
So left it alone till he turns up lol.
I`m not at all confident with EFIlive and doing email tunes but if that's the best way then I need to step up eh , sure Owen would help with that.
Even though the tune is obviously out some it did sound pretty tuff , I have to say was crapping my pants first fire up on a fresh motor , lots to look at and check all at the same time lol.
Your a mate , really do appreciate your knowledge and help .
got my ACI hood fitted over those large rear pulleys .

no problem - that's what this place is for
my first tune was fun but mediocre & rich. after talking with some friends about Owens work (and the fact i was headed that direction), i got to talking to him about stuff & was pretty confident in his ability. we only spent about 1hr on the dyno & then took it for a drive while he logged/refined, and that was it. he's just done so many builds like this (many at twice the power i'm making) that he can nail it pretty quick. it drives so much better than before & he also offers update tunes for free for stuff like a new cam, changing heads, adding meth, etc.

i hope you can get it worked out locally but if not, at least here's another good option.

if you're still having problems getting your tune sorted out, ARD (http://www.advancedracingdynamics.com/pages/Home.html) did mine & a few hundred other TVS LS cars. i'd say Owen would be willing to work with you over email to get you running right
