Default Nebraska people chime in

So how many Nebraska members do we have floating around the forum? And anyone close to the Columbus area?

It is pretty quiet on here with the Husker folks. I am out near Omaha.

I like to cruise to the shows in the area, but don't display the car or anything. Nothing too exciting about a C5 I am hoping the http://www.enwicc.com/ guys update the events book so we can see whats happening this year nearby.

It is updated. Scroll to the bottom and it will have a pic of it. Then click on it and it will let you see the entire book this year.

Oh man. I totally missed it. I kept looking at the events link towards the top. Thanks!

Just got my '79 last fall, have been to a few as a spectator. Currently got the rear end torn out doing trailing arm rebuild. Front end is next then body and interior, probably won't have my car on the road for a while.

You have to get it the way you want it. Well maybe we will see you at a show or two. I have a black c5 with real flames under the hood.

New owner in west Omaha here. I mostly read posts in the c6 areas but not seeing much local support here. I would like to attend some shows this summer, mostly as a spectator. Will probably go to c&c at hy-vee on west Maple saturday mornings. I think they start next month.

There were a few Omaha threads that were on going here but they have been dead for years now. This is mostly a vendor and Colorado section now.

Unfortunately, neither the Cornhusker or Midwest Early sites are up, and I don't see a link for Heartland.

Also in Bellevue, also with a '79.

Would be willing to occasionally lend a hand, I'm really good at drinking your beer and pointing at stuff.

I was at the West Point car show last September, showed my '50 Mercury street rod. One of the nicest car shows around. My 'Vette is a driver.... not really show material.

Here's another site that might interest you....

I'm working on my C5 Fri night in Omaha if anyone wants to stop by and tell me I'm doing it wrong. Neighbor across the street owns a couple C3s too. Beer will be free but might not be cold. PM me your number and I'll text my address. Prob start after 7:30. Cheers. KT
