Colorado speed shop in Colorado springs
Hi,
I would like to hear any feedback or any info or experience anyone have about COLORADO SPEED SHOP.
I spoke with them on the phone and they seem to be very knowledgeable and really nice to deal with. Also I like the quotes they gave me.
However I would like to know if anyon has used them and what the word on the vine is about them, before I go and drop couple of hard earned grand.

I haven't heard of them either but I went to Colorado Performance Unlimited, Trent is known as a great corvette tuner and builder (has a bad *** C6Z of his own). I had heads, cam and all the supporting mods done last fall and put over 2k miles of fun on it since. Super reasonable and I'm very happy

Well, these guys are really into restorations and hot rods and muscle cars and all around custom vehcles. They are located in Colorado Springs and the owner's name is Clint Romero.
I am looking to get my transmission swapped out and the clutch and flywheel with all supporting bearings, bolts and whatnot installed. They are matching the best deal I could find on the parts and charging me $670 for the labor. I am not really familiar with the going rate for a job like this, but it sounds more than reasonable and they seem to be extremely nice and easy to deal with. Apparently they also have an inhouse dyno and can do tuneups if I decide to swap heads and cam. When I called you could hear a car spinning the dyno in the background, so that's no bull. They go by Colorado Speed Company. I am willing to give them a chance unless there is someone to warn me not to do so.

Another option for you just south of Colorado Springs. All they do is Corvettes.
