Ya I know its kind of last minute, but was looking for a room for Friday night. The wife and I just decided to drive down in our 03 for Corvettes at Carlisle. Would like to park overnight with other vettes, hit the parking lot partys, or hotel bar after the show. I usually stay in York PA but its a 45 minute drive to the fairgrounds and there are only like 2 vettes in the lot. Anyone know of a nice hotel thats close to the fairgrounds that still might have rooms?

45 mins might be the closest at this point. i heard harrisburg area has some rooms and also check chambersburg area. that's only 30 min.

It will be fairly easy to find a room, especially for just one night. the closer you get to Corvettes at Carlisle as people who booked very early may have had to change their plans. Do a search for Carlisle hotels. I'm sure you'll be successful.

Yeah, lots of rooms around. You won't have any trouble. If you don't mind a little drive, the Super 8 in Chambersburg Scotland area is less than $60 a nite. We stayed there three years ago and it was new, clean, and exceptionally nice.

Wow, thanks for the responses guys. I love this forum. Where is the Fairfeild Inn located? Is this the one Ive seen on rt11 heading toward the fairgrounds?

I just checked, and they don't seem to have any rooms available. The next closest Fairfield Inn is the one in Harrisburg/Hershey, about 21 miles away.

About 3 miles away. I stayed there last year and it was a nice hotel.
