Default Corvettes America sponsored by America's Corvette Club of Michigan

Corvettes America, the premier Corvette Show in Michigan, will be coming to Alpine Valley Ski Area in White Lake Township, from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011.
Corvette owners and enthusiasts will gather in beautiful surroundings on four of the 25 tree-lined slopes at southeastern Michigan’s largest and most scenic ski area. The lodge deck and balcony overlooking the show will provide an ideal location to socialize and enjoy a catered BBQ. Representatives from all corners of the Corvette community will join us for this annual show and the kick-off to Corvettes on Woodward and the Dream Cruise.

Corvettes America, celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, draws automotive enthusiasts from across Michigan as well as surrounding states and Canada. It also has national ranking regularly drawing participants from California, Oregon, Texas, Florida, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and New York State among others. This NCCC sanctioned show, which is the largest all Corvette show within a two hundred mile radius of Detroit, will go on rain or shine. Corvettes America is an all volunteer effort staged by members of America's Corvette Club (West Bloomfield, Michigan) under the direction of President Richard Heldenbrand and Show Chairperson Jim McDonald. America’s Corvette Club, which is sponsored by Cauley Performance Automotive of West Bloomfield, is the largest Corvette club in Michigan. It is also ranked in the top five in terms of membership nationally. Proceeds from the show are donated to local and national charitable organizations.

Spectators will view some of the finest examples of the Corvette line competing for over thirty-five awards. Spectator entrance fee is $10.00 per vehicle. In addition, numerous Corvette after-market products will be offered by leading Corvette suppliers, and other automotive-related businesses will display products and services, all surrounded by the ambiance of the Michigan countryside. Special recognition will be paid to all registered 1961 vintage Corvettes on the 50th anniversary of their manufacture.

In addition, Cauley Performance will host a Corvette Track Day at Waterford Hills Raceway and an evening Michigan style barbeque at Somerset Inn in Troy, MI, across the street from
The Somerset Collection, the Detroit area’s premier shopping area, both on Friday August 12th. Paid admission to both of these events is open to all with limited numbers admitted.

For more information on all three events, visit www.corvettesamerica.org. Those interested may also send an e-mail to info@corvettesamerica.org or call (248) 788-6119. Cauley Performance Automotive is the primary sponsor of all three events.
