PacificNW 2014 NCM Caravan
OVERALL CARAVAN TRIP HIGHLIGHTS
1. All leave on Friday, August 22, 2014.
From Seattle, WA area, From Portland, OR area, From Bend, OR area, From Boise, ID: Washington and Oregon meet up for lunch in the Tri Cities, and then onto Worley, ID
Southern Idaho (Boise) travel across Idaho to Twin Falls, and then onto Idaho Falls, ID
2. From Worley, ID, meet up with Western Canada Caravan in Missoula for lunch.
Idaho Falls travels up the western flank of the Yellowstone National Park for lunch.
Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Western Canada meets in Bozeman for Early Dinner.
All travel onto Billings, MT (an approximate 2 hour drive) for the evening stay.
3. From Billings, MT, all travel to Casper, WY where lunch will be available either with a BBQ or if you prefer, to go into the Mall where we are gathered. The Pioneer Museum will be available to tour also. Wyoming Caravan joins here.
From Casper, we meet up in Cheyenne, WY at the Cheyenne Depot Museum for a private opening between 5pm and 8pm ($5.00 pp) . Dinner venues are in the general area.
Northern California/NV/UT caravan joins us here.
4. From Cheyenne, WY all travel to Lincoln, NE. A suggested stop is North Platte (1/2 way between Cheyenne & Lincoln is recommended). Arrive in Lincoln, NE where we are joined with the Colorado Caravan and Nebraska Caravan.
5. From Lincoln, we visit the American Speed Museum ($0.00 courtesy of the NE Caravan). Lunch is suggested in the general area, and departure will be at 1:00. To Columbia, MO.
6. From Columbia, MO, we join other Caravans for our final leg to Bowling Green, KY under the direction of the KS/MO Caravan Captain.
