Kinda disappointed of the whole show... GM NOT having a display I think is crazy !!! Hopefully the Corvette show will make up for it...

3rd biggest GM show ever as far as registration. Wondering if the rain Saturday morning kept people away? Shame cause it was beautiful later in the afternoon.

I'm used to seeing to whole field full... Where the Bandits cars were and even higher up were general parking was - other shows I've been to that was completely full...And again to General Motors display I find they should have had a display... It is the GM Nationals ...Yeah the rain seems to keep people away for sure...

GM Nationals has never been that big. They are in the process of breathing new life into it and the new manager of the show, Tyler has been doing a great job. Attendance is up a couple hundred in the past couple of years.

The show took a big hit when Camaro nationals decided to break off from Carlisle and do their own thing on the same weekend every year down in Maryland. Also having maybe 20 corvettes total show up because they get their own show is lame and doesn't help the show at all.

I have zero interest in Corvettes at Carlisle, this show is still a great time.

Problem is, no corvette guys show up because they have their own show and are too good to come to GM. The ACA used to hold camaro nationals there but they had a falling out with Carlisle events and moved to their own venue the same weekend. They get 3-400 camaros that used to be at Carlisle.

Over half of ford nationals are mustangs. Take those away and it would be the same.

Also if there was a mustangs at Carlisle I'm sure not as many would show up.

I'll never attend a corvettes at Carlisle, I like seeing more then one model car a thousand times over and frankly I don't care for the typical "show corvette" tacky mod ********. I go to GM to see a wide variety and hang out with friends that have all types of vehicles.
