2:30-3:45pm this Friday at Bloomington Gold in the Technology room at the event's I Hotel; Peter Brock will give a seminar sharing what it was like to be 20 years old and have Bill Mitchell walk into his studio at GM and say he and his three fellow designers would be designing the next generation Corvette, the C2.

Brock shares his personal sketches from '57 showing what various ideas they experimented with, what Mitchell liked and disliked with each. GM archive photos will show clay models that were built, how the models were compared to the C1, etc.

Brock shares insider stories of how the car was named the Sting Ray and how Mitchell had a secret room built where the car would be created while the AMA Ban was in effect, not allowing any performance work to be done.
