Default ** 9/28/14 - Corvettes for Chip Charity Show **

REMINDER:

Sunday, September 28, 2014 is the Corvettes For Chip Show located at Thomas Chevy on Route 1 in Media, PA We are expecting over 300 Corvettes of all generations for this Charity Corvette Show that raises money for the Chip Miller Foundation in support of a cure for Amyloidosis, the rare blood disease that took Chip from our Corvette Hobby.

Each year, Lance Miller brings a beautiful Corvette from the Miller Family collection to the show. This year, it will be a Red C-3, which is the first Corvette Chip Miller ever purchased.

This show features over 300 participants vying for awards in both stock & custom categories for every generation. With one winner and two honorable mentions in each category, we give away a ton of beautiful awards, plus our top awards in classes like best paint, best interior, best of show etc.

This show has raised over $60,000 in the past 8 years. We expect to raise that number much higher this year.

Also, like last year, this show also features a C7 raffle with winning ticket drawing at the end of the day! You should have seen the winner's face last year when he won a grey C7 in front of the crowd !

The show features many great Sponsors including County Corvette, AllVette.net, Corvette America, Corvette Central, USA AutoSupply and many more high quality, generous and committed sponsors.

Please, visit www.corvettesforchip.com right now to register or just make a tax deductible donation. We hope you can join us either as a participant or sponsor.

You can also visit the CORVETTES FOR CHIP page on Facebook. Lots of up to the minute information, pictures, videos and other information there.

Registration in advance saves you money compared to day of show.

Thanks for your support !

Registration is open, operators are standing by to process your paperwork. Don't stand in line for day of show registration (even though we are fast), register now, save $5 and just zip in, give your name and pick up your envelope.

Gonna be a great show, terrific facility, plenty of parking, good vendors and plenty of food choices

Hope to see you there!

Registrations are rolling in, only 19 days away.

Don't stand in line day of show to register, go online and register now, beat the rush. Great vendor line up, terrific facility, awesome selection of cars and your attendance helps us all contribute to research in finding a cure for the disease that took Chip Miller away before his time.

Winter is coming, car show season winding down, don't be left out of one of the great shows of the year.

Ok, down to the last 32 hours for on line, pre-registration, which will close at midnight Friday. Register before then and save $5 for some of the great food we will have available. Forecast is sunshine and 82 degrees. Come enjoy the varied display of Corvettes; stock, modified and even a racer or two, which you will get to judge. Terrific lineup of vendors, great facility at Thomas Chevrolet and always a fun time. Lance will be bringing Chip's '69 coupe. Enjoy a hassle free atmosphere with nice people and spectators are welcome. Look forward to seeing you there!

Liked it a lot more in the park, this just seemed like another car show. At the park was more like an Event. Won't be going back unless it is in the park again.

While the park was a nice setting, it's no longer a viable option. The facility has deteriorated and is not up to any standard that supports our trying to continue there, plus, it can't support our number of participants.
Sorry you "feel it's like any other car show". If it's "like any other car show" because it supports a great cause, always draws terrific looking cars and nice people, OK, we can live with that going forward.

I was at the park a couple of years ago and if my memory is correct there were more cars there than at Sundays show. I did get a chance to talk to Lance on this subject and he informed me that its out of his hands.
