It took us some time to answer eveyone due to elevator issues with the Lexington. The Lexington elevator is under cosmetic and structural repairs and they will not give us an answer to secure the dates of the event until Feb 2015. We are sorry for the delay but these are circumstances beyond our control.

Sorry it has taken us this long to get back with everyone. We just got off the phone with the Lexington Management and Board of Directors. We were told that the elevator has not been fully completed but should be in the next 2 weeks. So far things are looking good and the repairs are coming along nicely. However, the Vettes and Jets event will be pushed back to October to allow more time for us and everyone to prepare. The benefit to this is it should be a little cooler down here and we will also be out of the hurricane season too. We are shooting for Oct 09th weekend which is Columbus Day weekend. The last and most important thing is this will be the last Vettes and Jets event. The ship is said to be getting to old and in need of to many repairs and they can not afford to continue to place unneeded wear and tear on the ship.
You read it correctly... this will be the last Vettes and Jets event. We are going to do everything we can to make it the best one ever and go out with a bang.

If everything goes as planned, we will start registration on 13 April 2015. The date for the event is not for certain but we are looking for that weekend or the one before that on 03 Oct 2015.

The Lexington has agreed upon a date of 17 and 18 October 2015 but they have NOT finalized the event. We are hoping to know very soon and we will do everything we can to get the word out as fast as we can to everyone. Thank you all for your patience.

** CHANGE** Registration is being moved to 01 May 2015. The Lexington is having an issue with a structural repair to the elevator. Please help us to notify everyone and please remind everyone that this will be the last event.

We are sorry to inform everyone the the 2015 event has been cancelled for this year due to on going elevator structural maintenance. The Lexington has still not completed all work to be done on the elevator/lift.
The good news is they are going to allow us to reschedule for next year. They have already given us a date of Sept 10th and 11th 2016.
Again we are very sorry for the inconvience but this out of our control. We look forward to seeing everyone next year.
