MAM at Bloomington Gold 2015
We will be at Bloomington Gold this year at space GG4! Stop by and chat with Mike Yager and enjoy our complimentary water and popcorn! We will have a large collection of Indianapolis 500 and other assorted racing collectibles for sale that come straight from Mike's own collection.
The Yager boys, Michael and Blake, will be hitting the autocross track! We'll see which of them have retained their racing skills the best over the years! Who can guess which generation Corvette each will be using?
We will also be bringing a couple of pieces from our own collection! The Gold Collection is showcasing 1965 Corvettes, including our rare 1965 396 cutaway engine. This unique cut away 396 engine was used by General Motors as a display at events, as well as a training tool for employees. Just as the name implies, several sections of the engine are cut away or enclosed by a clear cover, giving enthusiasts a glimpse at the operations that power a Corvette.
We will also be bringing one of the 25 original Brickyard Corvettes home! This Corvette is a genuine "Official Brickyard Corvette Convertible," one of only 25 special-purpose Corvettes built by Chevrolet to serve as official vehicles for the inaugural NASCAR Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on August 6th, 1994. It was used for a special pre-race parade, transporting NASCAR drivers Ernie Irvan and Geoff Brabham around the Motor Speedway for the crowds. Of the 23 Corvette Convertibles that Chevrolet built for this event, 12 were black and 13 were red. All of which were only used on race day and are extremely rare today. With only 16,000 miles, she still looks as she did when ready to take the track the first day! This Brickyard C4 still retains the inaugural Brickyard 400 decals and parade flag mounts. She is also for sale!

We also had some visitors yesterday and today! These Vettes were part of the group that stopped by here to visit our grounds yesterday and today on their way to Bloomington Gold as a part of the National Corvette Museum's "Museum in Motion."
The crew hit the road to Indy this morning. We enjoyed having them here! We already have a crew over there setting up as of yesterday, I'm excited to get there tomorrow morning!
