Default 21th NCM Celebration

I have heard no discussion of this one. Is anyone else on here registered to attend?

Default Suprising

I have been away from the forum (And Corvette-less for a few years now) - My first vette was picked up at the event in 2000 (R8C delivery), and I was active for several years here on the forum and with NCM events... there used to be big groups of discussions about BBQ's getting together, meeting at different hotels, etc. to meet up in person at the event.

Seems like things have changed.

Thanks for the replies. It seems a lot of the forum people will be attending Corvettes at Carlisle. That said I assume a lot of folks will attend this event anyway and it should be fun. I have attended 3 of the Corvette Forum Cruise Ins a few years back at the NCM and had a blast. I know the big anniversary celebrations are every 5 years (like 2014), but this should be fun anyway with the grand reopening of the Dome and some of the cruises.

JT, if you see us please come say hello. We have a black 2015 Corvette with red interior and Texas plates. I would love to meet you and (if applicable) your significant other. My wife will attend with me. We are registered to take the cruise to the State Trooper youth summer camp.

Besides being called Crawfish, some people call me Don.

That's what it was like at the Cruise Ins. The forum has changed a bit over the years. The C7 forum is kind of sharp edged compared to my previous forums in the past (C4, C5, and C6)

I remember one time we stayed at the Hampton Inn, one of the official hotels. My wife almost killed me because one of the drag racers (off-road pro stock type cars) was doing burn outs in the parking lot at mid-night. We got very little sleep that night. It was great fun though.

There were probably 12 or more vendors set up in the entrance hall this afternoon when I picked up my credentials. There are a lot of Corvettes in town. Most of the hotel parking lots are about 1/2 full of Vettes and when we went to Montana Grill for supper tonight, it looked like about 3/4th of the people were Corvette people.

Tomorrow, we are going on the "Trooper Island" cruise.
