BTW, remember everyone....that all you need to do is to register for the National Corvette Caravan to get into the "action" at the NCM and all our events in Bowling Green (except for those noted....drags and go-kart racing...those you have to pay at the respective race tracks to participate). The NCM's way to show its appreciation to all its members and really "party down" for Corvette's big FIVE....OHHH!

Hey Adam - is this going to be a celebration of all Corvettes or just a long weekend of GM trying to sell the ugly anniversary edition?

I want to go, but I'm so disgusted with their half azzed attempt with the 50th Anniversary Corvette, that if thats the focal point I have no interest in attending.

I've seen a couple of you posts regarding your dissatisfaction w/Chevrolet and the handling of the 50th anniversary. Although I completely agree that the 50th turned out to be a great disappointment, I believe that the celebration at the NCM and Nashville will be an event to remember.

I am caravanning from the West coast to go to this. I think it will be as good as you want it to be. There will be so many things to do and so many things to see. Plus all the people you will meet, I can't imagine it being a bad event. Even if Chevrolet wants to try to make this an "infomercial" as you call it, go see something you want to see. Attend a seminar/clinic that interests you, go to the drags, go to the museum, go to the plant, go to the parade, take one of the road trips, in other words have a great time. I can't see an event like this coming along again anytime soon.

The choice is of course yours, but I think it will be worth it. :cheers:

The 99 Caravan was awesom! Go, it will be well worth it. It was worth the trip just to meet the Princess Trixie.
