Guys like all of our events your vehicle needs to pass a safety inspection this inspection is per the NHRA rule book. Safety first before anything else. Paul majors car will not be eligable to compete at this event. Rules will be made public soon. Thanks for showing interest in this awesome event. Don't be discouraged if you don't have the fastest vette on the property there will be index racing also so everyone can get their fix. A little hint on the fastest corvette class the vehicle is required to have the stock type independent rear suspension so this will eliminate the race only vettes from being able to race. This event is more for the average corvette enthusiast who wants to come out and have some fun with his fellow corvette buddies and win some cool prizes too. Find a current 2009 NHRA rule book to see whats needed for your vehicle. The race is 5 months away see ya soon!!!!

well now i dont know if we will make it. we have so much going on at the shop and the vette just had some major problem yesterday at the track.
long story short. First time to the track on HIGH boost 20+ PSI. blew the tires off off the trans brake, hooked at about the 60 foot. cut a 2.5 60'(LOL) hooked took off like a rocket and in between the 330 and the 1/8 she blew a head gasket and a rear main seal at the same time. started the car on fire under it from all the oil. DIDNt know it really happened just heard some weird noises and let out coasted to a 12.01 @ 101 MPH...LOL..but i guess thats not bad for only hooking, and being in it for about 250 Feet...LOL...going to try to get here back together though to meet all you guys!

That 10.5W is width of the tire measured. Don't think it is the tire you are thinking.
I am pretty sure the body kit is okay probably as long as it is one of those commercially availabe. What do you have?

Looks like I will be there... was at the LSX Shootout last year and had a lot of fun. Car is in preparations for a cage right now. Should be setting a new C6 record while I am there.
