Default Done w/Wilton Motors! Help, need reliable dealer

My C5 is still under extended warranty.

Tired of non-fixes @ Wilton...

Can anyone please recommend a reliable dealer in southern Fairfield County, Connecticut?

Maritime Motors, Fairfield?

Karl Chevy, New Canaan?

Try H&L in Darien. I've been getting my C5 serviced there, bought at Kerbeck, and H&L do a good job.

Default Might give Wilton 1 more try?

The issue has been poor service dept. communication with regard to intermittment operation of my '99's driver's electric door lock open. Sometimes it opens, sometimes it doesn't.

I asked them to check the actuator, remove the door panel, and check connection because you can hear a dull electric pulse, but the lock doesn't swing open.

Instead, they assumed it was the spare key fob i gave them which i knew had a dead battery was the problem.

taking the easy way out, they replaced the dead battery, reprogrammed it, and charged me .66 hours labor, and claimed it was fixed.

in the process, my everyday key fob had to be reprogrammed by me, and the lock problem is still a problem.

they've offered me a loaner car if I bring my car back....

Great!
I just found a link to help with my door lock problem here. The question is can Wilton tackle the problem, or do I go elsewhere?

I take my car to Davidson Chevrolet for warranty work. Its all the way up in Canton/Avon though. They have 1 mechanic thats the only guy allowed to work on the vettes. The owner has 5 corvettees I heard though. The last time I was there he had his 95 ZR-1 there.

Default wilton motors

i have had a good relationship with wilton motors for many years, both for commercial trucks, and cars.....that being said however, the owners have passed away last year, and they are now owned by devan accura in norwalk....i just had my new silverado in there last week for routine service and they were very courteous, professional, and i was more than satisfied with them..... just my $.02, i know everybody has their own opinions about every dealership..... jim....

Definitely give CT a look. I give my keys to no one, and to those that I HAVE to, I do it unwillingly. CT I'll toss the keys to. Trust is hard to come by when it comes to me and cars. Think I mentioned him to ye in that PM.
