Well with the 5th round of the Cartek Corvette Challenge in the books It time to take a close look at the points standings with only 2 races remaining.
Bill Martinson is our current leader with Dave Tortolani and Bob Trieschmann tied for second, John Panuzzo in 4th, and Rich Shuleski and Ioannis Hadjiioannous tied for 5th.
So as you can see the points race is heating up with a number of drivers still in the hunt.

In the event that we have a tie after the final race we will have use a tie breaker to determine the top 5 racers. More on this as we wind down.

Thanks again to all that have participated and given support.
This is the greatest Corvette drag racing series in the country.

WOW, I hope someday I get to be as hotshot a racer as you guys. You all sound like you been doing this all your lives. Remember you've got to earn those wins and to do that with 2 races left to go some rounds and earn some points. Then we'll see who's on top. Till then, keep praticing.

I'll be happy with an Eliminator win. The odds of actually winning the last two events are pretty slim for any of us, even if one of us did, would it be enough to be the overall champ? Probably not, we have some real good racers here and the points show it. As in anything consistency is the key. I will be on my game for the last two, that's what happened last year. I got focused and luck came my way. I just don't want to win the final event because you won't get a write up or your photo in the Raceway News.
