Default [Serious] Prayers and well wishes for my wife

Hi guys,

Well, we've had quite a fourth of July. This morning, on the way to brunch, my wife accidentally caught her hand on the house door while closing it. The edge of the door crushed her ring finger and almost cut off her fingertip. She was gushing blood. I was so scared for her. I rushed her to New York Hospital, I ran every red light trying to get there and rushed her into the ER. Luckily, everyone there was very professional and helpful. We didn't have to wait more than a minute before they let her into the ER. They took xrays and saw that she crushed the tip of her finger. They gave her a nerve blocker, a tetanous shot and had to sow the fingertip back on which was just hanging by the outer skin. They also gave her an antibiotic drip to prevent any infection.

She's finally home now, they gave her a ton of pain killers and will have to see a therapist to regain feeling in that finger.

I just want you guys to wish her well and have her in her prayers. I want to show her this later on so she can feel better.

I'm sorry to hear of her bad circumstances. Request granted. Lord knows if it was me (driving or injured) I would have fainted at the sight of the blood. I'm scared of blood!

Alex, Karin and I are so sorry for Jessica and you. Please tell her we send our best and hope she gets well quickly. It's time like this one, when you realize the closeness and caring two loving people have for each other. Hopefully that is the good that will get you guys through the bad.

Again, please give our best to Jessica and let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Yowzer!
You both most certainly have our prayers and well wishes.
She needs the prayers anyway for dealing with the Prez, but that's another matter.

Alex, sorry to her about the misfortune you had today. Your wife is a strong woman and she'll bounce back in no time, to make a fist and knock you out for not closing the door for her! LOL! Give Jess my best.

Ouch... that sounds familiar... last year my wife smashed her ring finger in the door from the house to the garage. Fractured her finger and had to have her nail sewn back into the bed in the ER.... ugly, bloody and very painful at the time. They weren't sure she would have a fingernail, but one year later you'd never know anything happened, fingernail grew back good as new.

Naturally it had to be her ring finger, had to cut off her engagement and wedding band.

Alex,

Prayers and good wishes sent. I know when my wife manages to hurt herself I just wish it would happen to me instead of her ...

... sounds like everything's going to be fine.

Jessica I'm so sorry this had to happen to you, but thank God you're alright and it wasn't worse. I hope that you're feeling much better soon.

Alex I hope you know that if you need ANYTHING, you can call me.
