The reason others (and myself) think it's a re-import is that it takes Deutsche Marks instead of quarters. It's not hard to re-wire the transformer if you know the era it came from, and I'd suppose it's already been re-wired. it also appears that he has put in the English ROM for the LED display too. The only thing that is a pain is that unless you have a jar full of German Marks (now replaced by the Euro), you can only run it on free play.
I have a pair of German pinball machines that I brought back with me from when I did a rotation over there that I still need to re-wire, but other than that, re-imports play just like the ones that weren't exported, and use all the same parts.

Reimport isnt really that big of an issue, its simple voltage change and if you're really picky change the coin door out. I'd only change it out if you enjoy putting quarters/tokens in for play, I just leave all mine on freeplay.
But I've also seen a few export machines never actually leave the US and stayed in the US corvette being one of them, there was a new in box corvette pin on ebay last week that never left the distributor that was destined for export.

I gave him a call on Sat, but no call back. Maybe he's sold it already.
