Default Manchester, CT car show

On Sunday, June 15 (Fathers Day) there is a car show at the Manchester (CT) Community College.
Forum member 'BASICSTRATEGY777', aka Nino is one of the coordinators.
This year, he has put together a Corvette only corral. Sounds like a fun day.
How many can make it?
Does anyone want to meet beforehand and we can go in together?

Thanks for the promo Dave. I'll be there early helping with the set-up so I won't be able to hook up with you guys.

The Mustangs will be parked next to us and I'd like to have more of 'us' than 'them'. We had about 20 Vettes last year and it would be nice to double that this year. This is only our 4th year and we had over 200 show cars last year. The trophies are really very, very nice and you you will be out early enough to enjoy the rest of the day.

Say a prayer to the weather gods.

Dave: I am going. However, I am on the Manchester side of the river. Where and at what time were you thinking meeting?

Don't know yet. I was waiting to see who's going and getting a consensus. If you know a good spot near the show to hook up, that could work too.

Joaquin or Nino,
Any places in or near Manchester to meet before the show for a good breakfast?
I know you'll be busy with the show, Nino, but you know the area.

Dave: We can meet at Dennis off Exit 65 of I-84. It is a big parking lot. Plenty of space to meet and park without worries. Should be about a 15minute drive from there to the show. I presume you will be taking 91 South and then the 291 intersect to 84.

Nino: I could not find the directions as you indicated.

For breakfast I like "The Brass Key" , 829 Main St. Manchester, Ct. 06040. Good food and reasonable.

Joaquin, scroll all the way down the page on the site I posted; it says "directions" .

If I'm in CT I'll be there. I'll know in a couple of days if I can make it.

There is a municipal parking lot about 100 yards from the Brass Key and
there is parking on both sides of the street.

It's up to you guys where you want to meet.

Nino, got it. By the way, how busy should we expect the place you mentioned to be on Sunday morning? Just need an idea for how early we need to be there, if we go there, and get to the show by 10:00 or so.

Guys, please vote your selection for where do we want to go eat breakfast. Still the best place to meet remains the parking lot by Denny's.

Joaquin........It is fairly busy. They have booths and a counter. If you get there by 9 you will be able to make it to the show by 10.

To be super, duper safe your spot would be best but I don't think you would have a problem. Your call.
